The Consul General, Mr. Saiful Azam Abdullah and Puan Khadijah Mahmud hosted a Tea Party in conjunction with the Birthday of His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. The tea party was held at the Orient Palace Hall, Frankfurt, on Saturday, 6 June 2009, between 2.00 pm and 4.30 pm. Malaysian traditional delicacies were served, including chicken rendang, curry beef, fried bee hoon, kuih karipap and kuih kacang. The event saw an attendance of 300 guests, including the Honourable Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, the Second Minister Finance of Malaysia and delegation, officials from the Malaysian Public Service Commission, Malaysians in Frankfurt, their local family members, members of the Malaysian Club Deutschland. ‘Friends of Malaysia’ and also 80 Malaysian students studying in and around Frankfurt, also attended the celebration.
