The courtesy call on H.E. Cherif RAHMANI, Minister of Environment and Land Planning of Algeria, was made by H.E. Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Algeria on 8 June, 2011. Algeria, under the current 5-year plan, 2010-2014, is offering many opportunities including in areas of building new-townships, housing and environmental projects under the purview of the Ministry.
The Minister was extremely pleased to receive the Ambassador as Algeria holds high regard on Malaysia to have joint-ventures in various of its economic programmes. The Ambassador sought the Minister's support in the forthcoming visit by an established Malaysian company, SWT Sdn. Bhd. specializing on solid waste management, including the use of incinerators, to seek the possibilities of having joing-investment in Algiers, Oran and Mostaganem.

VISITE DE COURTOISIE A SEM. CHERIF RAHMANI, MINISTRE ALGÉRIEN DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT ET DE L’AMÉNAGEMENT DU TERRITOIRE
SEM Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, Ambassadeur de Malaisie en Algerie, a effectué une visite de courtoisie à SEM Cherif RAHMANI, Ministre algérien de l’Environnement et de l’Aménagement du Territoire, le 8 juin 2011. L’Algerie, avec son plan quinquennal actuel 2010-2014, offre d’importantes opportunités notamment dans le domaine de la Construction de nouvelles villes, habitat ainsi que des projets dans le domaine de l’environnement qui relève de la compétence du Ministère.
Le Ministre était extrêmement content de recevoir l’Ambassadeur vu l’importance qu’accorde l’Algerie à établir des joint-ventures avec la Malaisie dans plusieurs de ses programmes économiques. L’Ambassadeur a sollicité le Ministre pour une prochaine visite d’une entreprise Malaisienne de renom SWT Sdn. Bhd. spécialisée dans le domaine de la gestion des déchets, y compris en utilisant des incinérateurs, la visite a pour objet d’étudier les possibilités d’avoir des investissements communs à Alger, Oran et Mostaganem.
