Although every year, Algerian businessmen do participate in MIHAS, but the number that visited Malaysia this year was by far the highest. 12 businessmen came to participate and were accompanied by the Embassy's Marketing Officer who was sponsored by MATRADE after he managed to get such encouraging number of Algerian participants.
From the feedback that we received, the Algerian side were very happy for the good organisation by MATRADE and they hope to see continued efforts by the Malaysian Government to promote halal food to the Algerian market.
