MEETING WITH THE GOVERNOR OF THE WILAYAH OF ANNABA AND THE ECONOMIC OPERATORS

Considering that the Wilayah of Annaba (600 kms from Algiers) has ambitious programmes to develop its economy, H.E. Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, Ambassador of Malaysia to Algeria, visited the Wilayah from 27-28 January, 2012.  During the visit, the Ambassador had meetings with H.E. Mohamed El Ghazi, Governor of the Wilayah, Mr. Rachid Ghimous, President of the Chamber of Commerce and its members, as well as, Annaba businessmen.  Many possible cooperations on tourism, industries, education, housing and new townships were discussed and they would like to have Malaysian investors and businessmen to take these wide opportunities.

The Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet Malaysians working in the Wilayah, notably, on the construction of East-West highway that is almost completed.

RENCONTRE AVEC LE WALI D’ANNABA ET SES OPERATEURS ECONOMIQUES

Sachant que la wilaya d’Annaba (600 km d’Alger) a un programme de développement économique ambitieux,  SEM Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, Ambassadeur de Malaisie en Algerie, y a effectué une visite du 27 au 28 Janvier 2012. Pendant cette visite, l’Ambassadeur a rencontré SEM Mohamed El Ghazi, Wali d’Annaba, M. Rachid Ghimous, le Président de la Chambre de Commerce de cette wilaya et ses membres ainsi qu’avec des hommes d’affaires. Plusieurs possibilités de coopération, notamment dans le domaine du tourisme, l’industrie, l’éducation, l’habitat et urbanisme ayant été discutés, et le coté algérien a exprimé son souhait de voir les Malaisiens investir dans les domaines précités.

L’Ambassadeur a aussi rencontré les Malaisiens vivant dans la wilaya et qui travaillent pour la plupart dans les chantiers de l’autoroute est-ouest qui est presque achevé.
