Other important events here in December, 2009 include the visits of Y.Bhg. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad, CEO of Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd on 8 December, 2009 and the visit of the senior officials from PETRONAS on 11 December, 2009. There is an attempt for Malaysia to work closely with Algeria, South Africa and Nigeria to have joint-venture to launch satellites in the outer space of the Africa Continent in near future.

| An interesting chat between the Ambassador and the PETRONAS delegation at Algiers Hilton Hotel. There is a possibility that PETRONAS might be back in Algeria after their departure in 2003. There will be a Ministerial Meeting for Oil and Natural Gas producing countries in Oran, Algiers in March, 2010 and Malaysia is expected to participate. |
