MALAYSIAN TRAVELLER'S INFORMATION

i) Flight to Algeria

  • There is no direct flight between Malaysia and Algeria. Travellers from Malaysia may fly with Malaysian Airlines to major destinations in Europe, such as Paris, Rome, London or Istanbul and take connecting flight to Algiers. There are also other destinations that can be used such as Dubai and Doha.

 

ii) Local Currency

  • Algeria official currency is the Algerian Dinar (AD/DZD).
  • As of 1st January 2024, the exchange rates are;
  • USD 1.00 = AD 134.59 (Banque Exterieure Algerie)
  • AD 1.00 = RM 0.0348 (Treasury of Malaysia)
