H.E. Dato’ Naimun Ashakli Mohammad chaired the first ASEAN Ambassador Meeting in Madrid on 22 October 2009, amongst others to discuss the proposed establishment of the ASEAN-Madrid Committee, the activities to promote ASEAN image in Spain as well as to foster rapport among the ASEAN Missions in Madrid namely Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines.
