H.E. Ambassador Haznah Md Hashim attended a meaningful luncheon hosted by Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares with Asia Pacific Group Ambassadors. FM Albares reaffirmed Spain’s intention to deepen engagement with the Asia-Pacific region, strengthen ASEAN relations, diversify supply chains, and expand economic and technological cooperation with the region.
Ambassador Haznah took the opportunity to highlighted Malaysia’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, defence, and emerging sectors such as semiconductors and digital security. Spain’s renewed focus on the region presents a valuable opportunity to further strengthen Malaysia–Spain ties.
