The Ambassador of Malaysia to Spain, Kennedy Jawan, and his wife hosted a get-together event under the Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia (PMRM) amongst Malaysians in Spain on Saturday, 14 March 2015.
An estimated one hundred Malaysians comprising professionals and students, and their families from Madrid and as far as Barcelona, attended the event.
In his welcoming remarks, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation to those who had taken time off to join the Embassy's event. He hoped that the event would provide Malaysians with the opportunity to get to know one another as well as to take advantage of the occasion to expand one's networking base. The Ambassador provided a brief update on and the importance of keeping abreast on the current developments at home. He also reminded Malaysians to be good citizens, promote and uphold the image of Malaysia abroad.
The Malaysians were treated to home-made cuisine including satay and laksa Sarawak.
