On 3 June 2026, Malawakil Conakry organized Kaamatan Festival and Gawai Dayak Celebration at Loura Restaurant. The event highlighted Malaysian culture with prominent focus on Sabah and Sarawak to the local communities and diplomatic corps in Conakry. Dishes, textile and music of Borneo were presented to the guests, exposing them to the identity of the natives of the eastern part of Malaysia.
