MEETING BETWEEN LAKSAMANA MADYA DIDIK HERU PURNAMA, HEAD OF THE INDONESIAN SECURITY COORDINATING BODY (BAKORKAMLA) AND H.E. AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA TO THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Laksamana Madya Didik Heru Purnama, Head of the Indonesian Maritime Security Coordinating Body (BAKORKAMLA) had called on H.E. Dato’ Syed Munshe Afddzaruddin Syed Hassan, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Indonesia on 10 January 2012. The Meeting was held at the Embassy of Malaysia. Laksamana Madya Didik was accompanied by his officials from BAKORKAMLA. H.E. Ambassador was accompanied by Brig. Gen. Dato’ Anuar Rijaludin (Defence Attache),Mr. Nik Abd Aziz (JPM), Supt. Naaim Yaazid ( PDRM) and Mr. Istaq Nadzril Abd Kader.
Laksmana Madya Didik briefed the Ambassador on the outcome of the Second meeting between Malaysia and Indonesia on the Common Guidelines for Maritime Law Enforcement Along the Maritime Border Areas for fishermen of both countries held in Kuala Lumpur on 29 December 2011. H.E. was informed that both sides agreed to continue discussion and finalise the document as soon as possible. The target date for the signing ceremony is on 27 January 2012. With regard to the signing of the document, Bapak Didik as the operational head "Kepala Pelaksana Harian" of BAKORKAMLA and Mr. Abdul Rahim Hussin, from the National Security Council (NSC/MKN) would be signing the document.
