CONSUL GENERAL IN MUMBAI WELCOMED 5 MALAYSIAN STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES

The Malaysian Consul General in Mumbai on 26 March 2009 welcomed 5 Malaysian students representatives participating in a familiarization trip to India from 22 March to 3 April 2009.

The students Raihanah Abd Razak (UUM), Maizatul Akmar Mohamd (UPSI), Lai Tjun Kong (UTAR), Mohamad Shafeeq Hashim(UMK), Mohad Suffi Kamari (UMP) arrived in Mumbai on 25 April 2006 from Hyderabad and were taken to visit, among others, Tata Consultancy Services, Bombay Stock Exchange, St. Xavier College, Indian Institute of Technology.

The student leaders were part of 50 ASEAN students selected for a Study Visit to India organized by the Ministry of External Affairs of India and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).  Their visit to India covered the cities of Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

In Mumbai, the students were hosted a dinner at the residence of the Consul General, Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah.
