CONSUL GENERAL OFFICIATES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF PERWAKILAN MUMBAI
The Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai, Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah officiated the Annual General Meeting of the Malaysian Ladies Association (PERWAKILAN) held at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on 23 January 2009.
The AGM was originally planned before the end of the year but was postponed due to the incident of terror attacks on Mumbai. Wan Zaidi, in his remarks congratulated the PERWAKILAN for having actively carried out its activities throughout 2008. The Chairman of PERWAKILAN, Zuhaila Wan Zaidi delivered a keynote address detailing out the achievements of PERWAKILAN and the future plans for the Association.
The AGM also elected the new line up of Committee members for 2009. As more activities for 2009 have been planned, the AGM also created several new Sub-Committees to assist in the implementation of the activities.
