State of Maharashtra : Noted Indian scholar Dr M A Patankar, who has done pioneering work in social activities in India and several other countries, was today awarded the Gandhi Peace Prize Award.
Dr M A Patankar received the award from the Governor of the State of Maharashtra, Ch Vidyasagar Rao during the Gandhi Peace Award ceremony held last week which was attended by invitees from all over India. This award was presented to acknowledge the work of individuals making big efforts to the betterment of the people. Dr M A Patankar held a reception on 16 October 2015 to celebrate the occasion. The event was attended by members of parliament of the Lok Sabha, politician, diplomats and scholars.
