DIWALI GATHERING OF THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF MALAYSIA IN MUMBAI AT TAJ LANDS END HOTEL, MUMBAI
On 26 November 2023, Sunday, the Consulate General of Malaysia hosted a Diwali Gathering event for Malaysians and Friends of Malaysia at Taj Lands End Hotel, Mumbai. The Consul General of Malaysia delivered the opening remarks by welcoming the guests and encouraged Malaysians to optimize the online services developed by the government such as the MyHeart portal by the Ministry of Human Resources and TalentCorp, and eKonsular apps by Wisma Putra for online consular services.
The Consulate also took the opportunity to award certificates to five Locally Recruited Staffs for their successful completion of the Special Malay Proficiency Language Enhancement (SiMPLE) programme during the gathering. The programme ended with the Diwali feast consisted of local Indian and international cuisines including Khao Suey, satay, paratha, karipap, spring roll and samosa.
