Sambutan Maulidur Rasul in Mumbai was held on 26 February 2010. The Consul General, Mr. Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah and his spouse were present at the event which was also attended by Muslim Malaysians and their family in Mumbai.
The celebration, held at the residence of Mrs. Waheedabi Abdul Karim, began with a tazkirah by Mr. Azmee Nin and followed by Magrib prayers. Solat hajat, recitation of yaasin, salawat and marhaban were later performed.
