On 23 October 2015 the Consul General of Japan Mr. Joshiaki Ito hosted a working dinner at his residence. The dinner is to honor the Secretary of Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, Mrs. Valsa Nair Singh. Attending the dinner were Consul General from Malaysia, Brazil. German, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
Among the subject matter discuss was how to improve tourism cooperation between State of Maharashtra and individuals countries as well as getting some updastes on what are the measures taken by the states to boost the tourism industry particularly in Mumbai.
