YB Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Minister II of Resource Planning and Environment led a 39-member delegation from Sarawak on a timber selling mission to Republic of India. The 3 day mission, aims to promote the sales and export of Sarawak timber products. This trade timber mission is designed to bring together over 200 experts, captains of industry, policy makers and investors from all over State of Maharashtra to get updated on the sarawak state timber outlook, demand and supply potentials. Besides that this mission is also looking at the next wave in the wooden furniture industry and timber as the game changer in the construction building sector. During the 2 days mission, the consulate team had a pre council meeting followed by the seminar and Roundtable Meeting with the indian participants.
