Ambassador attended as special guest the "Diary of Gaza Surgeons - A Witness to the Genocide" organised by The Palestinian Doctors Association in Europe - Ireland (PALMED Ireland) at the Trinity College on 23 September 2025. Ambassador took the opportunity of his presence at the Conference to brief and update attendees on the various initiatives undertaken by Malaysia including our NGOs as well as Malaysian doctors residing in Ireland in rebuilding healthcare system in Gaza. Ambassador also recalled the statement by YAB Prime Minister at the recent Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha earlier that urged the international community to take severe punitive actions against Israel to stop the atrocities against our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
"Condemnations will not stop the missiles. Declarations will not free Palestine. Severe punitive actions must be put in place. Diplomatic engagement must cease and so must trade relations."
