Chinese New Year Celebration 2026

The Embassy, in collaboration with the Malaysian diaspora in Ireland, jointly organised a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration earlier today. The event showcased elements of Malaysia’s rich cultural traditions in celebrating CNY, including an energetic lion dance performance and the traditional yee sang prosperity toss, symbolising unity, good fortune, and prosperity for the year ahead. The celebration brought together the Malaysian diaspora, the Irish community, friends of Malaysia, and invited guests in a warm and festive atmosphere. The Embassy expressed its sincere appreciation to all partners, volunteers, and attendees whose support and participation contributed to the success of the celebration.
