Condolence Message on the Passing of Former Taoiseach John Bruton, 6 February 2024

Ambassador and all of us at the Embassy extend our deepest condolences to the Government and people of Ireland on the passing of  earlier today, 6 February 2024. Malaysia joins Ireland in mourning the loss of a great leader who has been instrumental in the establishment of the Irish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur in 1995, which was during the tenure of the late John Bruton as Taoiseach from 1994 to 1997. May his soul rest in peace.
