Ambassador received on 10 June 2024 an inter-galactic courtesy call from Tuscan Riders, the first ever by the Embassy since its establishment in 2001. Joke aside, one of the two Tuscan Rider is our Malaysian born, Master Chef Norzainuri who is now based in Cork with his wife, Caroline. Both Ambassador and Chef Zainuri discussed collaboration in promoting Malaysia, especially our traditional cuisines in Cork and surrounding areas. We look forward to engaging with all Malaysian Chefs based in Cork and Southern part of Ireland to promote Malaysia’s culture, tourism and food. And perhaps someday, we can also join hands in promoting Malaysia in Planet Tatooine and other parts in the Galaxy. May the force be with us.
