We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Liz O'Donoghue for sharing her experience in Malaysia in her latest book, Backroad to Singapore. A good read for those who wish to know more about rural areas in Malaysia and the colourful culture of our diverse and multiracial society. The Ambassador and all of us at the Embassy would also like to thank Liz for her service in teaching our students in those rural areas more than a decade ago.
