ENGAGEMENT WITH ASSISTANT POLICE COMMISSIONER FOR ORGANISED AND SERIOUS CRIME

Ambassador met with the Assistant Commissioner for Organised and Serious Crime at An Garda Síochána earlier today to discuss collaboration between Malaysian and Irish authorities. He also took the opportunity to discuss with the Assistant Commissioner visit by the Royal Malaysia Police later this month. The Embassy remains committed to exploring with the Irish authorities concerned potential collaboration between Malaysia and Ireland in areas such as illegal trafficking of drugs and transnational crimes.
