Ambassador met with Governor of Cloverhill Prison on Tuesday, 15 April 2025, to discuss collaboration between Malaysian and Irish authorities. He also took the opportunity to discuss with the Prison Governor welfare of all Malaysian detainees currently undergoing sentencing at Cloverhill Prison. We remain committed to exploring with the Irish authorities concerned potential collaboration between Malaysia and Ireland in areas such as illegal trafficking of drugs and transnational crimes.
