On 24 January 2024, Ambassador Wan Yusri had the second engagement with Islamic leaders in Ireland. The Ambassador met the Imam of the Clonskeagh Mosque, Imam Sh. Hussein Halawa, and the CEO of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, Mr. Ahmed Hasain, to hand over the donation from the Government of Malaysia which includes 100 Qurans with English translation, along with other publications by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia - JAKIM. Both sides also agreed to collaborate in promoting Islam as a religion of peace and to raise awareness, as well as support for the Palestinian cause in Ireland.
