ENGAGEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL PROFESSIONS ASSOCIATION

Ambassador received earlier today Dr Mahmoud AbuMarzouq, a Palestinian doctor based in Ireland who can speak Kelantanese who is the secretary of the International Medical Professions Association, to discuss another project related to Palestine. Both agreed to jointly organise later this year talks/seminar on the humanitarian needs in Palestine, especially Gaza, which would also be aimed to raise funds for Muslim NGOs with work in Palestine as well as lobby for more support among the locals in Palestine. Ambassador also handed over contribution of Quran with English translation by JAKIM for distribution to the local community in Ireland.
