Ambassador met earlier today, 23 January, with President of the Islamic Foundation of Ireland and Imam of the Dublin Mosque, Imam Yahya Mohamed Al-Hussein to hand over the donation from the Government of Malaysia 100 Quran with English translation as well as other publications by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM). They also agreed to collaborate in promoting Islam as a religion of peace, halal certification by JAKIM, and raising awareness as well as support for the Palestinians cause from the local communities in Ireland.
