PERWAKILAN Dublin participated in the International Charity Bazaar Dublin 2012 on Sunday, 18 November 2012 at the Burlington Hotel Dublin. The annual event was organised by the International Annual Fundraiser of the Diplomatic Corps and Irish Friends. More than 50 embassies based in Dublin took part in this year’s event. The collections would be channelled to various charity centres in Ireland including Deaf Hear, Dun Laoghaire Refugee Project, Localise, Marie Keating Foundation, St Patricks Hospital Foundation, The Jack and Jill Foundation and The Mansion House Fuel Fund. The event was attended by over 2000 guests.
PERWAKILAN Dublin booth offered variety of Malaysian dishes as well as Malaysian batik and crafts. The Malaysian dishes prepared by members of PERWAKILAN include Fried Meehoon and variety of kuih-muih (Kuih Karipap, Roti Jala, Cekodok Pisang and Kuih Bakar) were fast sold-out by the end of the day.
Malaysian dishes and crafts received enormous good response from guests on that day and surely helped promoting Malaysia food, culture and tourism to the local and expatriate community.
