Malaysia Heritage Food Event, 29 June 2024

Ambassador together with a group of Malaysian chefs in Ireland led by Chef Adli and Chef Azhary hosted earlier today at the Embassy an event to promote Malaysian breakfast culture. Attended by food and beverages players as well as diplomatic circle and friends of Malaysia in Ireland, the event showcases Malaysia’s iconic breakfast dishes Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, and Teh Tarik. Those three dishes were nominated earlier this year as Malaysian Breakfast Culture in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
