The National Day of Commemoration of Ireland was held on 14 July 2024 at Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin. The ceremony commemorated all Irishmen and Irishwomen who have lost their lives in past wars or during service with the United Nations (UN). The event was attended by President Michael D. Higgins and the Taoiseach. The National Commemoration Day was followed by a Luncheon for the Diplomatic Corps hosted by the Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora in Dublin Castle. The Embassy of Malaysia was represented at both events by Mrs. Intan Nadia Ramli, Chargé d’Affaires.
