The National Day of Commemoration of Ireland was held on 9 July 2023 at Collins Barracks, Cork. The ceremony commemorated all Irishmen and Irishwomen who have lost their lives in past wars or during service with the United Nations (UN). The event was attended by President Michael D. Higgins and the Taoiseach.
The National Commemoration Day was followed by a Luncheon for the Diplomatic Corps hosted by the Tánaiste and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence, on 10 July 2023 in Dublin Castle, Dublin. The Embassy of Malaysia was represented at both events by Ms Nadzira Abd Razak, Chargé d’Affaires a.i.
