INFORMATION ON ONLINE PAYMENT FOR COVID-19 SCREENING TESTS

AND QUARANTINE CHARGES

 FOR TRAVELLERS COMING INTO MALAYSIA

For information, the Government of Malaysia has made it compulsory for both Malaysians and foreigners entering Malaysia to undergo the COVID-19 screening test and subsequent quarantine for fourteen (14) days at the quarantine stations designated by the Government.

Such individuals will also have to bear any expenses incurred for medical treatment during the quarantine period. All collections for COVID-19 screening test and quarantine charges are implemented by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH). Towards this effort, MOH has collaborated with MyEg Services Berhad to create online payment receipts through the MySafeTravel System / MyQr by MyEG Application.

Through the system, all foreigners who wish to enter Malaysia are required to complete the online payment before leaving for Malaysia from 15 November 2020 onwards.

Meanwhile, Malaysians are also encouraged to utilise the online application for payment before returning to Malaysia.

The proof of payment has to be presented to the staff at the International Arrival counter before undergoing the COVID-19 screening test and being placed to designated quarantine stations.

The online system is effective from 15 November 2020 via the following links:
