The Embassy of Malaysia and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) had organised an investment seminar on 20 June 2013 at the Westbury Hotel, Dublin.
The seminar was aimed at attracting Irish companies to invest and do business in Malaysia as well as enhancing bilateral economic relations between both countries. Over 80 participants representing Irish companies (investors and traders) including officials from the relevant government agencies attended the event.
Among the prominent speakers at the seminar was MATRADE Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Noharuddin Nordin who shared Malaysia’s success stories and the incentives provided by the Malaysian government for investors. The seminar was officiated by His Excellency Dato' Ramli Naam, Ambassador of Malaysia.
