His Excellency Dato' Syed Sultan Idris arrived Dublin on 1 August 2014 to assume duty as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Ireland. Ambassador Dato' Syed Sultan was received by Ms. Claire Buckley, Assistance Chief of Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs Ireland and the Embassy officials. Later, Ambassador Dato' and family were hosted to a small reception at the Chancery.
