University College Dublin (UCD) Malaysian Society hosted the UCD Malaysian Night 2012 with the theme 366 Days of Summer on 11 February 2012 at UCD. This annual event showcased the spirit of sharing and celebrating the various cultures and delicious cuisines of Malaysia. The event was attended by more than 200 Malaysian and international students.
The event was also attended by H.E. Dato’ Ramli Naam, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ireland and Professor William G. Powderly, UCD Dean of Medicine as well as officials from the Malaysian Embassy and UCD.
The audience was entertained throughout the event with various colourful performances including band performances, a play as well as Malaysian traditional dances.
