UPDATES ON MANDATORY HOTEL QUARANTINE IN IRELAND
(as of 6 April 2021)
- In relation to our update on 24 March 2021 on the Mandatory Hotel Quarantine in Ireland, please take note that 26 more countries were added to the currently existing list of high-risk countries. The newly added countries are highlighted in yellow colour.

*Passengers arriving from Mauritius before 4am on the morning of Tuesday 6 April must prebook and enter mandatory hotel quarantine.
- Malaysia is NOT affected by the newly updated list.
- However, anyone travelling from Malaysia and will transit in any port or airport in any of the 59 countries as listed will be subjected to the mandatory hotel quarantine upon arrival in Ireland. The newly added countries are highlighted in yellow colour, for your ease of distinction.

ADDITIONAL NOTE
- The Government of Ireland advises against all non-essential international travel. All travellers coming into Ireland must:
- complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form; and
- provide evidence that you have a negative or ‘not detected’ result from a COVID-19 RT-PCR test carried out no more than 72 hours before you arrive into Ireland, or have evidence that you are exempt from this legal requirement
