Malaysia has advanced 11 spots to the 23rd position in the recently released World Competitiveness Ranking (WCR) 2025 by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Economic performance, government efficiency, and business efficiency are factors that drive Malaysia’s overall competitiveness. The country is ranked fourth in terms of real GDP growth, registering 5.1% growth in 2024.
