On 8 May 2025, Mr. Mohamad Shahir Sabarudin had the opportunity to meet fellow Malaysians in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region of Iraq and host them for dinner as part of the Embassy of Malaysia’s ongoing engagement with the Malaysian community in Kurdistan. Although they’re based quite a distance away in Kurdistan Region, it was truly great to meet them in person finally. We’re happy to see Malaysians doing well and staying connected in this part of Iraq.
