ASEAN Festival 2019
On 8 September 2019, HE Loh Seck Tiong, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Kenya together with other ASEAN Ambassadors inaugurated the ASEAN Festival 2019 at Village Market, Nairobi. The opening ceremony was attended by more than 500 distinguished guests comprising members of the expatriates and the local community.
The Festival was organized by ASEAN-Nairobi Committee (ANC) comprising diplomatic missions from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. The Festival featured a variety of food, handicrafts, cultural performances, as well as tourism video clips of the four ASEAN countries.
