On 2 March 2026, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Kenya led ASEAN diplomatic missions in an ASEAN Care and Share programme at the Brydges Centre Training Institute near Nairobi. Officials from the Embassy of Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand joined the programme as their show of support which is an initiative to assist unemployed youth especially women and girls. ASEAN Committee in Nairobi (ACN) donated KSH100,000 to support the institute to buy more training equipment. The programme demonstrated ACN’s commitment to community empowerment, skills development, and strengthening ASEAN’s positive image in Kenya.
