On 13 March 2025, the High Commission of Malaysia, in collaboration with a notable non-governmental organisation (NGO) Hope of Africa, organised a food distribution programme in Nairobi, Kenya. This humanitarian initiative was conducted in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, aiming to provide much-needed support to underprivileged Muslim communities in the city. A total of 150 food baskets were distributed during the event, as well as prayer mats and copies of the Al-Quran.
