On 23 March 2022, TYT Ambassador Muzafar Shah Mustafa, as the current Chair of ASEAN Community in Mexico City (ACMC) has organized a farewell lunch to the Director-General of Asia-Pacific of the Secretariat of External Relations of Mexico (SRE), Ambassador Claudia Franco Hijuelos who is scheduled to be posted to the United States. The Meeting was also attended by Heads of Mission from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
The Meeting also discussed the existing bilateral relations between ASEAN countries including Malaysia and Mexico.
