**Upcoming ASEAN Public Lecture at UNAM FES-Acatlán**

The ASEAN Committee in Mexico City (ACMC) is pleased to announce the **ASEAN Public Lecture** scheduled to take place on **16 May 2025** at the **Centro de Estudios Municipales y Metropolitanos (CEMM), UNAM FES-Acatlán Campus**.
In preparation for this special event, members of the **ACMC Working Group** recently conducted a tour of the venue to finalize arrangements and ensure a meaningful and enriching experience for all attendees.
This public lecture will bring together **200 invited guests**, primarily university students, who will have the opportunity to learn more about ASEAN, its member states, and the growing ties between Southeast Asia and Mexico.
The event aims to foster greater understanding of ASEAN's role in regional and global affairs, while also promoting cultural and educational exchange.
To conclude the lecture, guests will be treated to a **reception featuring traditional food from each of the participating ASEAN embassies** — a delicious way to experience the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Southeast Asia.
