26th MEETING OF COUNCIL OF THE AMBASSADORS AND HEADS OF MISSION OF THE OIC GROUP
On 4th April, H.E. Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico attended the 26th Meeting of Council of the Ambassadors and Heads of Mission of the OIC Group based in Mexico City hosted by the Embassy of Lebanon. Chaired by the Ambassador of Egypt as Dean of OIC Group, present at the meeting were the Heads of Mission of Algeria, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
The Meeting discussed issues of mutual importance to the Group among others, the Palestinian issue, Islamic Cemetery in Mexico State and awareness program in Mexico on cultural, social and humanitarian role of Islam.
