2nd HIGH-LEVEL TASK FORCE ON THE ASEAN COMMUNITY'S POST VISION 2025 VISION (HLTF-ACV)

Malaysia hosted the 22nd High-Level Task Force on the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV) Meeting in Penang, Malaysia from 17 to 19 March 2025. The Meeting was co-chaired by the Acting Eminent Person of Malaysia, Dato’ Zainuddin Yahya, and Eminent Person of the Philippines, H.E. Elizabeth P. Buensuceso, and was attended by all Eminent Persons of HLTF-ACV from ASEAN Member States (AMS) and Timor-Leste. Also in attendance was Secretary General of ASEAN, H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn.
The discussion focused on finalising the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and all its Strategic Plans. HLTF-ACV also had an interface session with the Chair of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration (HLTF-EI), the Co-Chairs of the Ad-Hoc Working Group on the ASCC Post-2025 Strategic Plan, and the Chair of the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC).
