36th Annual Meeting of Mexican Ambassadors and Consuls (REC) 2025
Mr. Hardi Hamdin, charge d'affairs, attended the 36th Annual Meeting of Mexican Ambassadors and Consuls (REC) 2025, inaugurated by Mexico's Foreign Secretary Juan Ramón de la Fuente. The event emphasized the importance of unity in defending national rights and values, and the need for a committed diplomatic corps to address current global challenges.
The 36th REC, the first under President Claudia Sheinbaum's administration, provides an opportunity to evaluate and establish Mexico's foreign policy guidelines, as well as set priorities and objectives to strengthen the country's foreign policy actions in an evolving global environment.
The REC is the Mexico's most important diplomatic meeting, bringing together Mexico’s entire diplomatic leadership. Heads of missions worldwide join government officials, academics, specialists, and other key stakeholders to shape the nation’s international agenda.
