We’re starting 2026 with Semur, a dish deeply rooted in Selangor’s Javanese heritage. Brought to Malaysia through Javanese communities who settled in Selangor in the late 1800s, this slow-braised stew became a familiar presence at kenduri, majlis tahlil and festive gatherings, often served as part of Nasi Ambeng. Today, it remains a comforting expression of home and tradition.
For our Business Class guests, the experience begins with tender braised beef in a rich, fragrant gravy, paired with buttery Nasi Minyak. A familiar flavour, elevated at 35,000 feet.
