On Monday, 9 May 2011, Mission received a new Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico, Dato’ Jamaiyah Mohamed Yusof. The new Ambassador whom arrived Mexico City at 7.15 pm was received by the Head of Chancery, Third Secretary of Mission and protocol officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mexico. She was later brought to the VIP room and was greeted by the Ambassadors and Charge d’ Affaires of the ASEAN embassies namely, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Together in the VIP room receiving her was the members of Perwakilan Malaysia in Mexico. Ambssador Jamaiyah later signed the visitor’s book before heading to Nikko hotel.
