ASEAN Flavours & Dialogue: A Cultural Reception

Following the success of the ASEAN Public Lecture, the guests, students, and embassy representatives continued the afternoon with a vibrant cultural reception that brought the spirit of ASEAN to life—through food, friendship, and meaningful conversations.
After the formal session, attendees were invited to a **refreshment reception** hosted by the ASEAN embassies in Mexico, each showcasing signature dishes from their home countries. This unique post-event gathering offered not only a chance to unwind and mingle but also to **experience ASEAN through its rich culinary diversity**.
The **Embassy of Malaysia** proudly contributed to this cultural feast with delicious servings of **Bihun Goreng** (fried rice vermicelli) and sweet, colorful **Agar-Agar** (Malaysian jelly dessert). These beloved Malaysian favourites were thoroughly enjoyed and sparked curiosity among students eager to know more about Malaysia’s culture and cuisine.
